In 2004 the first CHOG concert took place in the West Road Concert Hall. Cambridge The concert was a means of expressing our gratitude to our supporters in a tangible way: Friends, Benefactors, sponsors, hosts, and members of the production team were offered complimentary tickets (the remaining tickets were sold to the general public). Concerts have taken place in each non-production year so far. The music performed has been vocal and instrumental chamber works by Handel. The programmes have included some of the continuo cantatas which Andrew Jones is currently editing for the Hallische Händel-Ausgabe.
The next concert will take place at 7:30 pm on Friday 27 April 2012 in the West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge. The soprano soloist will be Sarah Power; members of the Cambridge University Collegium Musicum will be directed by Margaret Faultless.
