By performing in English and offering low ticket prices we help to ensure that our productions are accessible to all. In addition, we provide invaluable opportunities to young singers to gain professional experience early in their careers. Talented instrumentalists at the University of Cambridge are given the rare opportunity of performing eighteenth-century opera in a historically informed style, thanks to the coaching that they receive from baroque specialists.
Our Study Days, which are free and open to all, have been held for many years, and are immensely popular. We hope to expand our education and outreach efforts to reach even more people, provide work experience, and the chance to learn about opera, Handel, and the theatre first-hand.
If you have any ideas for ways in which you or your organisation can be involved with CHO, please contact J.S.Morgane, our company manager.
