Concerts

In 2004 the first CHOG concert took place in West Road Concert Hall. The concert was a means of expressing our gratitude to our supporters in a tangible way: Friends, Benefactors, sponsors, hosts, and members of the production team were offered complimentary tickets (the remaining tickets were sold to the general public). Concerts have taken place in the three non-production years so far: on 8 May 2004, 6 May 2006 and 4 May 2008. The music performed has been vocal and instrumental chamber works by Handel; the programmes included some of the continuo cantatas which Andrew Jones is currently editing for the Hallische Händel-Ausgabe.
