Lucy Roberts
Luca Roberts (chorus: soprano) is in her second year reading Music at Homerton College. She began her vocal training with Jenevora Williams at the Royal College of Music Junior Department; her first operatic role was Belinda in a school production of Dido and Aeneas. Since coming to Cambridge Lucy has enjoyed singing with the chapel choirs of Gonville and Caius College and Clare College, joining them both for international tours in 2006. She is a member of the University Chamber Choir. In her first year she sang in the opera choruses of The Marriage of Figaro and Venus and Adonis (Cambridge University Opera Society). In February 2007 she sang the role of Hansel (Humperdinck: Hansel and Gretel) in the CUOS main show. She has also performed in concerts with CUCO, the Cambridge Beethoven Singers, and the Dmitri Ensemble, and has given solo recitals of French song and English lute song in Cambridge. Lucy studies with Ashley Stafford.
