Liam Matthews
Liam Mathhews (technical director) is back for the fourth time to help turn Cameron and Alan's artistic plans into technical reality. Over the past thirteen years he has worked on more than one hundred shows for the Royal Theatre, Northampton. Before this he was stage manager at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge for two years. He is usually to be found inside some piece of equipment, trying (occasionally with success) to find out why it doesn't work. He has lit several touring shows for the Royal Theatre, including Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Tom's Midnight Garden, and Hard Rain. Other shows he has lit include And then He Kissed Me, Dial M for Murder, Death And The Maiden, What the Butler Saw, and The Millionairess. Liam has been sound engineer for numerous shows at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, including HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, and The Pirates of Penzance. For the Royal Theatre he has provided the sound for Northanger Abbey, Gallery Brown, Dick Whittington, Sleeping Beauty, Breaking the Code, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel; he has also provided sound for many Youth Theatre shows including Return to the Forbidden Planet and Fiddler on the Roof.
