George Mullan
George Mullan (chorus: bass) is a second-year undergraduate reading Music at Clare College. Before coming to Cambridge he was a Choral Scholar at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. He currently sings in Clare Chapel Choir and has performed in numerous live radio broadcasts both in England and on the Continent. In 2005 he took part in a European tour of Handel's Messiah with René Jacobs and the Freiburger Barockorchester which culminated in a recording of Messiah for Harmonia Mundi. Last summer he sang at the Munich Opera Festival and Innsbruck Early Music Festival with Clare Choir. This summer he will be singing at Munich Opera Festival, Potsdam Early Music Festival, and the Salzburg Festival. He studies singing with David Lowe and piano with Richard Smith.
