Alan Morgan
Alan Morgan (lighting designer) has been the lighting designer for five CHOG productions since 1999; he feels he's become something of a company fixture, especially since he is also now one of the trustees. He has been involved in lighting theatre and opera productions for nearly twenty years, but somehow has never quite managed to make any money out of it. For most of the year he earns his living designing bits of electronic processor chips for video and multimedia applications. In the interests of variety, he is pleased to be able to take some time off from the world of chip design and instead work on something big enough that you can see it, by lighting an opera.
